These words are called pronouns — they replace the names of people and things. Instead of saying “Rahul is tall”, you can say “He is tall.”

“He is my brother.”

💡 Tip: “He” is used for boys and men. Instead of “Rahul is tall”, say “He is tall.”

👧 she

“She is my teacher.”

💡 Tip: “She” is used for girls and women. Instead of “Priya is kind”, say “She is kind.”

🔴 it

“It is a red ball.”

💡 Tip: “It” is used for things and animals. The ball is big → It is big. The dog is cute → It is cute.

👭 we

“We are best friends.”

💡 Tip: “We” means me and others together. I and my friends = We. “We are going to school.”

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 they

“They are singing a song.”

💡 Tip: “They” is used for a group of people or things. The birds are flying → They are flying.
