Once upon a time, in a faraway village, there lived a kind and beautiful girl named Beauty. She lived with her father, a merchant, and her two sisters. While her sisters were proud and selfish, Beauty was gentle, hardworking, and always helped her father.

One day, the merchant lost all his wealth and had to move with his daughters to a small cottage in the countryside. Beauty adjusted happily, but her sisters complained all the time.

🌹 The Rose That Changed Everything

One day, the merchant heard that one of his ships had returned. He set off to the city, hoping to regain his fortune. Before leaving, he asked his daughters what gifts they wanted.

The sisters asked for expensive clothes and jewelry.

But Beauty simply said,
“Father, please bring me a rose.”

Sadly, the merchant found that his ship was lost again. With a heavy heart, he began his journey home. On his way, he got lost in a dark forest and discovered a mysterious castle.

Inside, he found food, warmth, and a place to rest—but no one was there.

The next morning, before leaving, he saw a beautiful garden filled with roses. Remembering Beauty’s wish, he picked one.

Suddenly, a terrifying Beast appeared!

🐻 The Beast’s Demand

The Beast roared,
“How dare you steal from my garden! You must pay for this!”

The merchant begged for forgiveness and explained the rose was for his daughter.

The Beast said,
“Then bring your daughter here… or you must stay forever.”

The merchant agreed, heartbroken, and returned home to tell Beauty everything.

💛 Beauty’s Brave Decision

Beauty was saddened but brave. She said,
“Father, I will go. It is my fault you are in danger.”

Despite her father’s protests, she went to the Beast’s castle.

To her surprise, the Beast treated her kindly. He gave her a beautiful room and everything she needed. Every evening, the Beast would ask,
“Beauty, will you marry me?”

And every time, she gently replied,
“No, Beast… but I thank you for your kindness.”

🌟 A Growing Friendship

Days turned into weeks. Beauty began to see that the Beast was not cruel, but lonely and caring. They spent time talking, laughing, and becoming friends.

One day, Beauty asked to visit her father. The Beast agreed, but said sadly,
“Please return soon… I cannot live without you.”

⏳ A Broken Promise

Beauty returned home and was happy to see her father again. But her sisters, jealous of her happiness, tricked her into staying longer.

After many days, Beauty had a terrible dream—she saw the Beast lying weak and dying.

Realizing her mistake, she rushed back to the castle.

💖 True Love Breaks the Curse

She found the Beast lying in the garden, barely alive.

Beauty cried,
“Please don’t die! I didn’t know how much I cared for you… I love you!”

At that moment, something magical happened.

The Beast transformed into a handsome prince!

✨ The Secret Revealed

The prince explained that he had been cursed by an enchantress because of his selfishness. Only true love could break the spell.

Beauty’s love had saved him.

They got married and lived happily ever after, bringing Beauty’s father to live with them.

🌼 Moral of the Story:

Appearances can be deceiving—what looks sweet and safe may hide danger.
Courage, intelligence, and staying strong in difficult times can help overcome even the greatest challenges.
