Matthew instantly disappeared with a whoosh. He landed near a castle and bumped into the ground. The castle looked exactly like the one in the book. He decided to visit the castle to see what it had to offer.
On the way, he met a girl named Goldilocks who invited him for lunch.
They shared a big bowl of oatmeal and ate until they were full. After finishing, Matthew said goodbye to his friend and returned to the castle.
Matthew then came across a fierce wolf who started chasing him.
He ran to the house of the three little pigs for safety. The wolf tried, but failed, to blow the house down. The wolf was too tired to chase Matthew and couldn’t blow the house down.
Matthew quickly reached a bridge.
A grumpy old troll jumped out in front of him as he crossed. The troll shouted, “I’m going to eat you!” The troll was then knocked into the lake by a large billy goat. Matthew thanked him and said goodbye to his new friends.
Matthew ran past the starting line of a race.
There was a lazy hare and a slow-moving tortoise. He finished the race first. Matthew had won the race! “The castle can’t be far away now,” he thought.
Suddenly, a big beanstalk appeared in the middle of the path.
The castle was at the top. Matthew climbed up until he reached the top of the beanstalk. He couldn’t open the castle door because it was too big, so he entered through the window.
Inside, he saw a harp playing beautiful music and a goose that laid golden eggs.
He came to a mysterious door and opened it to see what was inside. He found a magician there, and on the table was the book “The Magic Story.” The wizard gave the book to Matthew. The wizard said, “It’s time for you to go home,” and shot the book Matthew was holding.
Matthew disappeared without a trace.
He was reunited with his family. “It had to be a dream,” Matthew thought. He sat down and started reading his book. The book began to glow again. “Here we go again,” Matthew said with a smile. Matthew vanished just like that!
