👫 When to Use These Sentences

Friends are the best English teachers — because kids talk to friends ALL day! From “Hey, did you do the homework?” before class to “See you tomorrow!” at the school gate, every conversation is a chance to practice. These 50 sentences cover everything friends talk about: sharing tiffin, playing games, saying sorry, and making plans.

The best part? Kids learn faster from friends than from textbooks. When Aarav says “Can I join your team?” instead of just pointing, or Priya says “You’re my best friend!” instead of staying quiet — that’s real English! Start with 5 sentences and watch friendship do the rest.

❌ Common Mistakes With Friends

❌ “Give me your pen.” (sounds rude)
✅ “Can I borrow your pen, please?”
“Give me” sounds like an order. “Can I borrow” is polite. Between friends, manners still matter — add “please” always!
❌ “I didn’t meant it.” / “I didn’t meaned it.”
✅ “I didn’t mean it.”
After “didn’t,” always use the base form: “mean” not “meant” or “meaned.” Same rule: “didn’t go,” “didn’t see,” “didn’t know.”
❌ “Whose turn? My turn!” (incomplete)
✅ “Whose turn is it? It’s my turn!”
Complete sentences sound better. Add “is it” to questions and “It’s” before “my turn.” Practice full sentences even while playing!
❌ “You are looking happy.” (wrong tense)
✅ “You look happy today.”
“Look” (simple present) is correct for how someone appears right now. “Are looking” sounds unnatural in English for appearance.
❌ “I am agree with you.”
✅ “I agree with you.”
“Agree” is a verb, not an adjective. Don’t add “am” before it. Just say “I agree” — simple and correct!
