❌ Common Mistakes Indians Make

❌ "The train is came."
✅ "The train has come." / "The train is here."
Don’t mix "is" with past tense. Use "has come" or "is here".
❌ "I have upper birth."
✅ "I have the upper berth."
It’s "berth" (sleeping space on train), not "birth" (being born). Spelling matters!
❌ "Which platform train comes?"
✅ "Which platform does the train come on?"
Add "does" and "on" for correct question structure.
❌ "Put luggage on the up."
✅ "Put the luggage on the rack above."
Use "rack" or "overhead rack" — not "the up". Add "the" before luggage.
❌ "Train is going very fastly."
✅ "The train is going very fast."
"Fast" is already an adverb. There’s no word "fastly" in English.
