❌ Common Mistakes Indians Make

❌ "My teeth is paining."
✅ "My tooth hurts." / "I have a toothache."
"Paining" is Indian English. Use "hurts" or "aches". Also: one tooth, two teeth.
❌ "I brushed my teeths."
✅ "I brushed my teeth."
"Teeth" is already plural. Never add ‘s’ — it’s tooth → teeth, not teeths.
❌ "Doctor pulled out my teeth." (one tooth)
✅ "The dentist pulled out my tooth."
One = tooth, many = teeth. Also say "dentist" not "doctor" for teeth.
❌ "I am fearing the injection."
✅ "I’m afraid of the injection." / "I’m scared of injections."
Use "afraid of" or "scared of" — not "fearing" in everyday English.
❌ "Open the mouth."
✅ "Open your mouth."
Use possessive "your" with body parts: "your mouth", "your teeth", not "the mouth".
