1. I Before E, Except After C
When the sound is ‘ee’, I before E: believe, achieve. After C, flip: receive, deceive. Exceptions: weird, seize.

2. Double Consonant = Keep Vowel Short
Adding -ing/-ed to short-vowel words? Double the last consonant: run→running, begin→beginning.

3. Drop Silent E Before -ing/-ed
