Picture composition means looking at a picture and writing 5-6 sentences about what you see. This is a very important exam skill! You need to describe WHO is in the picture, WHAT they are doing, and WHERE it is happening.

In Grade 2, you wrote 2-3 sentences. Now in Grade 3, you will write 5-6 detailed sentences using adjectives, adverbs, and interesting vocabulary. Think of it as painting with words โ€” make the reader SEE the picture through your writing!
