📖 Let’s Learn Writing 5-Sentence Paragraphs!

In Grade 2, you learned to write 3-sentence paragraphs. Now in Grade 3, you will write 5-sentence paragraphs! The formula is simple: 1 topic sentence + 3 detail sentences + 1 closing sentence.

A 5-sentence paragraph is the building block of real writing — essays, letters, and reports. Once you master this, you can write about anything! Every great writer starts with strong paragraphs.

💡 The Rule

Sentence 1: Topic sentence (tells what it is about).
Sentences 2-4: Three detail sentences (give information, examples, or reasons).
Sentence 5: Closing sentence (final thought or feeling).
