A homophone is a word that sounds the same as another word but has a different meaning and usually a different spelling. For example, “to”, “too”, and “two” all sound the same, but they mean completely different things!

Homophones are one of the trickiest parts of English! Even adults sometimes mix them up. But once you learn the most common ones, you will be a homophone expert!
