Question Marks & Exclamation MarksSpecial signs that change the meaning of sentences!
๐ What are Punctuation?
In Grade 1, you learned about full stops (.). Now let’s learn two more important punctuation marks: the question mark (?) and the exclamation mark (!).
These marks change how a sentence sounds and what it means. A full stop makes a calm statement. A question mark turns it into a question. And an exclamation mark shows strong feelings like excitement, surprise, or warning!
๐ก The Rule
Full stop (.): ends a normal telling sentence.
Question mark (?): ends a question.
Exclamation mark (!): ends a strong-feeling sentence.
