Tense Errors

❌ Yesterday I go to school. ✅ …I went.
past time needs past tense
“”Yesterday” = past time → use past tense (went, not go).”
❌ Tomorrow I went to the park. ✅ …I will go.
future time needs future tense
“”Tomorrow” = future → use future tense (will go, not went).”
❌ She is reading since morning. ✅ …has been reading.
since/for needs perfect continuous
“”Since” and “for” with duration → use has been + verb-ing.”
❌ I have seen him yesterday. ✅ I saw him yesterday.
yesterday = past simple, not present perfect
“Present perfect (have seen) doesn’t go with specific past time (yesterday).”
❌ When I will come, I will call. ✅ When I come, I will call.
after “when” use present, not future
“In time clauses (when, before, after), use present tense even for future meaning.”
