When you look at a picture, you can describe it using English sentences! Look carefully — what do you see? Who is in the picture? What are they doing? Where are they?
Use nouns, verbs, and adjectives together to paint a word-picture! This skill helps you write better and express yourself clearly. It’s also a common activity in school exams!
💡 The Rule
To describe a picture: (1) Look at WHO is in it, (2) Look at WHAT they’re doing, (3) Look at WHERE they are. Then write 2-3 sentences using these details!
