Pointing Words

Words that point to people or things — near or far!

📖 What are This, That, These, Those?

When you want to point at something, you use special words: this, that, these, those. Use “this/these” for things that are near you. Use “that/those” for things that are far from you.

Use this/that for one thing (singular), and these/those for many things (plural). These four words help you point at things without using your finger — you point with words!
