More Sight Words
20 New Words (Sets 5–8)Another 20 common words to recognize instantly!
📖 Let’s Learn More Sight Words
In Grade 1, you learned 20 sight words (the, is, he, she, a, an, my, your…). Now it’s time for 20 MORE!
These are all words you’ll see in every book and sentence. Learn them by sight — recognize them instantly without sounding them out! These words are harder to spell using regular phonics rules, so the best way to learn them is to see them again and again.
💡 The Rule
Sight words can’t always be sounded out. Learn them by looking at them over and over until you recognize them instantly. Practice 5 words per day!
🎯 Key Concept
Set 5: about, after, again, away, back
Set 6: came, could, every, find, give
Set 7: going, just, know, let, make
