❌ Common Mistakes Indians Make

❌ "Where is market?"
✅ "Where is the market?"
Use "the" before specific places: "the market", "the school", "the station".
❌ "How much far is the station?"
✅ "How far is the station?"
Don’t use "much" with "how far". Just say "How far is…?"
❌ "Go from this side."
✅ "Go this way." / "Go in this direction."
"This way" or "in this direction" is more natural than "from this side".
❌ "The shop is in front of the temple."
✅ "The shop is opposite the temple." / "The shop is in front of the temple."
"Opposite" means across from. "In front of" means directly ahead. Know the difference!
❌ "Can you say me the way?"
✅ "Can you tell me the way?" / "Can you show me the way?"
"Tell me" or "show me" — not "say me". "Say" doesn’t take an indirect object like this.
